Project Information

The new Industrial and Commercial Bank of China head-quarters building in Shanghai, China consists of 28 above-ground floors and two subterranean levels. Designed in collaboration with Studios Architecture and Team 7, the ICBC tower features a stainless steel and glass exterior with a simple yet elegant design theme.  The central design revolves around the expansive lobby with a 110-foot plane of back-lit yellow onyx.  In the evening, a golden glow is viewed from the lobby and continues onto the street, warming the appearance of the building. JWDA assisted in providing construction documents, design coordination, and construction administration.
