UTC Luxury Apartment Tower slated to open in early 2019

JWDA was retained by Westfield Group to perform full architectural services on a 23-story luxury apartment tower in University Town Center, La Jolla, California. The topping-out ceremony was celebrated earlier this month with completion slated for early 2019. This is Westfield’s first residential project in the United States.
The 300-unit development features studios, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units, all with private balconies. Amenities include a fitness center, library, private work stations, 24-hour concierge, Sky lounge with ocean views and private dining, a clubroom with sports lounge and 26,000-SF of outdoor deck equipped with a resort-style pool, cabanas, outdoor grills and kitchens, and fire pits.
Designed with panoramic views of the ocean, resort-style living, and easy access to Westfield UTC’s world class shopping, dining and entertainment, this project is sure to exceed user expectations.
