Simone is Tallest Tower in Little Italy and Among the Tallest in Downtown

The new Simone tower, formerly known as Union & Ash, will rise 36 stories from grade in the heart of Little Italy. This will be Trammell Crow Residential’s biggest project in San Diego to date. JWDA is providing full architectural services on the project.
The residential tower contains a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units, with 32 of the 395 units set aside for low-income renters. Amenities include 16,600-SF of common outdoor deck, fitness center and a two-story sky lounge and pool deck that caps the tower of this striking, nearly all-glass façade. The project offers unobstructed views of the marina with visual and physical connectivity to downtown’s greatest features. Construction started earlier this month with expected completion slated for spring 2023.
