Principal Matthew Geaman Named San Diego County’s 2021 Men of Influence by SD Metro Magazine

Please join us in celebrating Matthew Geaman, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, NCARB, having recently been named San Diego County’s 2021 Men of Influence by SD Metro Magazine.

As Principal at JWDA, Matthew is an esteemed colleague and friend, with significant ties to the architectural profession and community.  With 20 years of experience, overlapping 13 years at JWDA, Matthew has worked on a wide range of projects in both the public and private sectors such as the award-winning Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center in La Jolla.

Currently, he is concurrently serving as Project Executive for three high-density residential towers in downtown San Diego, each of which involve complex programming and design while working closely with JWDA Founder and President Joseph Wong, FAIA to strengthen the JWDA brand through the progressive integration of design and practice leadership.

Matthew previously served as President of the San Diego Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and as Board Member of the San Diego Architectural Foundation.   He is the recipient of several awards including AIA’s Young Architect of the Year and ENR California’s Top 20 Under 40.

Matthew is a graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  He is a Registered Architect in California and Illinois, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
