JWDA, along with developer Floit Properties and general contractor Suffolk, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of Park Summit, a 21-story mixed-use residence coming to San Diego, CA’s Bankers Hill neighborhood. Completion is slated for late 2026.
Aptly inspired by its location adjacent to the 1200-acre historic urban-cultural Balboa Park, and in close proximity to local restaurants, retail, museums, theaters, and the San Diego Zoo, Park Summit’s architecture is contemporary yet understated, featuring floor-to-ceiling glazing for its tower element and 7-story podium. Stepped massing optimizes the site’s layout and surrounding context, designed to complement the neighboring low- and mid-rise structures while maximizing views of Balboa Bark to the east, downtown San Diego to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
Park Summit offers 265 apartments and extended stay units ranging in size from 700-1300 SF in one and two-bedroom configurations. Learn more about the Park Summit project here.
