Monsaraz Hotel Wins International Design Award

Point Loma’s new $30 million Monsaraz Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, received a LIV Hospitality Design Award in Interior Design from the prestigious design organization based in Zurich. Monsaraz Hotel sits adjacent to the Americas Cup Harbor in the San Diego Bay Point Loma Coastal District. The design of the nearly 50,000-SF, 92-key boutique hotel is upscale yet comfortable, with the finishes, color selections and artwork inspired by the quintessential Portuguese fishing village, featuring a modern take of Azulejo hand-painted ceramic tile paired with modern patterned concrete tile applied to both the exterior and interior of the project.
