Mission Cove Wins Ruby Award

Mission Cove has been honored with the Ruby Award for Housing Project of the Year in New Construction. The project is developed by Community HousingWorks and National Community Renaissance. This affordable housing master development blends mixed-use residential, commercial and business to create an intergenerational community in the City of Oceanside, California.
JWDA provided architectural services for the Mission Cove Seniors building sited within the Mission Cove Master Development. Mission Cove Seniors is a four-story Type V structure comprised of 138 residential apartment units for active seniors. Approximately 15,500 square-feet of resident amenities include an 8,700-square-foot interior courtyard, community rooms, shared kitchen, dining and laundry facilities, lounge/media room, meeting space, and multipurpose space.
