Millenia Grand Opening of Duetta and Volta Affordable Apartments

Chula Vista recently celebrated the grand opening of Duetta and Volta Apartments; a 210-unit family and senior affordable housing complex located in the up-and-coming Millenia Development of Otay Ranch. JWDA was retained by Chelsea Investment Corporation for the project.
Volta provides 87 units including 1- and 2-bedroom units for low-income seniors. Amenities at Volta include a community clubhouse, computer room, adult education classes, and community garden. Duetta provides 123 units ranging from 1- to 3-bedrooms for low-income families. Amenities at Duetta include two playground areas, picnic area with barbecue pits, community clubhouse, computer room, and after-school programs for children. Residents of both neighborhoods have access to surface parking and a parking structure. Residents started moving in at the beginning of October 2017. The project was delivered on time and completed under budget.
