Members of the San Diego Architectural Foundation Tour JWDA’s 525 Olive

03.2023

JWDA Architects was honored to participate in a tour – see video recap here – with the San Diego Architectural Foundation (SDAF) for the recently completed “525 Olive” in Bankers Hill downtown San Diego. Tour participants were given exclusive view of the residential grand lobby and leasing office, sky lounge and pool deck, and model 2-bedroom unit.  JWDA was retained by Greystar for this $100.2 million luxury residential mixed use development.

525 Olive is located directly west of San Diego landmark Balboa Park and shares a site with St. Paul’s Cathedral.  Approximately 30,000-SF of interior and exterior assembly and office space is dedicated to support the cathedral’s ministry to the community.  The nearly 300,000-SF development includes 204 residential units, with access to a comprehensive amenity package. 18 of the 204 units are designated affordable for low-income residents.   The project is LEED certified.

525 Olive team leads David Priest and Sophia Del Mar English led the tour on behalf of JWDA.
