The Best Western Bayside Inn is ideally located in the bustling Little Italy neighborhood of Downtown San Diego. JWDA teamed with the owners “to create a modern new look that would reposition their property in terms of appeal to a new and younger class of business traveler.“
The use of sustainable and recycled materials, selection of high-performance systems, and incorporation of modern design elements seamlessly combine to re-brand the Best Western Bayside Inn. The transformation: outdated hotel to contemporary destination for guests and neighbors to enjoy.
The remodel included replacing the outdated glass façade with a custom-designed, high-performance window wall system that meets the required design and energy performance criteria set by the city and owners. Additional design features include the selection of high-end interior finishes and unique artwork to showcase the lobby/reception area. JWDA team led by Joseph O.
