JWDA WELCOMES DAVID N. PRIEST, AIA

JWDA welcomes David N. Priest, AIA as Senior Project Executive. Priest is responsible for design development, construction administration, and project delivery. He will augment JWDA’s strong team through oversight of firmwide practice management. The core of his philosophy is to provide clients with efficient and innovative design, strong leadership, and smooth project delivery.
Priest received a Bachelor of Architecture as well as Bachelor of Civil Engineering (with emphasis in Structural Design) from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. With over 30 years of experience, Priest has worked on a number of large-scale projects including:
- 888 S. Olive Street, Los Angeles – 34-story, 302-unit apartment building scheduled for completion in 2015
- 1050 B Street, San Diego – 24-story, 229-unit affordable apartment building, LEED® Gold Certified
- The Mark Condominiums, San Diego – 33-story, 244-unit condominium building
- Grand Hyatt Hotel, San Diego
Priest is leading the JWDA team with Broadstone at Makers Quarter, a 269-unit, market-rate housing development in the up-and-coming neighborhood of East Village, San Diego. He is also involved with high-rise residential, mixed use developments and various other projects at JWDA.
