JWDA retained by Chelsea Investment Corporation for Millenia Development Phase 2


Following the success of Millenia Development Phase 1 – The Duetta and Volta Apartments, 210 units of affordable housing for family and seniors – JWDA has been retained a second time to provide full architectural services for Millenia Development Phase 2, a new multifamily affordable housing project in the Millenia Master Plan Community of Chula Vista, California.

The greater Millenia Community covers 80 walkable city blocks within the heart of Chula Vista, bringing urban dwelling to a suburban landscape, comprised of shopping, dining and entertainment.  A walkable lifestyle combined with high-density living brings a unique opportunity to connect families and neighbors.

Millenia Development Phase 2 will provide 200 units for low-income families in two distinctive buildings, with tenant amenities for each including a community room, lounge, co-work space, and private outdoor space.  A shared parking structure is nestled within the site with convenient and easy access to both buildings.

Phase 2 is scheduled to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2021.
