Joseph Wong Guest Panelist at Executive Round Table

04.2015

International Real Estate was the focus of a recent round table at The Daily Transcript, sponsored by the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR) on March 25, 2015.  Joseph Wong, JWDA’s Founder and President, was invited to attend as a panelist.  The main discussion: Local Realtors want to improve the city’s recognition and make San Diego a top choice for international buyers.

Currently, California ranks among the top four states with the most international buyers, second to Florida.  However, San Diego still has work to do.   “Continuing to share San Diego’s story and its successes is important, as is increasing the number of direct international flights at Lindbergh Field”, said Joseph Wong at the event. “I think there’s a lot of catch up for San Diego.  It’s all about branding.  We want to tell people…you open a door halfway or you open a big door and say “we really welcome you’.  That’s a really important message and it takes a partnership.”

The San Diego real estate market may be a best-kept secret for now, but making this city first choice will bring economic development and support to San Diego.
