RENOVATION OF THE UCSD SCHOOL OF GLOBAL POLICY & STRATEGY COMPLETE

01.2017

The renovation of the UCSD School of Global Policy & Strategy (GPS) is complete! A year after its rebranding from IR/PS to GPS, the School of Global Policy & Strategy celebrated the return of students and faculty with a grand re-opening of its updated facilities.   The renovations included a beautification of the GPS auditorium and complete overhaul of Robinson Hall.  The entirety of Robinson Hall has transformed, with the addition of a new classroom, new “break-out” spaces, student and faculty offices as well as the remodel of existing classrooms, lobby space, and student lounge.  The function of the new lobby offers students and faculty the opportunity for social gathering, personal study, as well as a comfortable setting.  Enhanced material selection, a strong creative vision, and high-tech features reinvigorate the GPS campus for all users and fortify the school’s reputation as a forward-thinking institution.
