Civic San Diego Unanimously Approves Design for 13th & Broadway

Civic San Diego unanimously approved the design for 13th & Broadway, an affordable housing tower in the East Village. JWDA was retained by Chelsea Investment Corporation to provide entitlement design services for the project.
The 14-story, 273-unit tower contains a mix of studio and two-bedroom units, with nearly 50% of the units set aside for permanent supportive housing. Amenities include common outdoor area on levels 2, 6 and 14, shared laundry rooms, multipurpose rooms, community rooms, and on-site supportive services. The ground floor includes nearly 10,000-SF of commercial space and residential lobby/leasing office, respectively.
