Bund House Presented with 2013 Gold Nugget Grand Award

The latest addition to Shanghai’s Bund District, a new, high-rise luxury residential development, Bund House, designed by JWDA for Greentown China Holdings Limited is the recipient of a 2013 Gold Nugget Grand Award. The Gold Nugget Awards, sponsored by Builder Magazine and presented by PCBC, recognizes architects, builders, developers, and planners who improve communities through extraordinary approaches to design, development, and planning. The Gold Nugget Awards celebrated their 50th anniversary at the awards ceremony held on June 05, 2013 in San Diego, California.
Bund House earned a Grand Award, the highest achievement for the Best International Residential Project – Attached 1.0 FAR & Over. This striking residential complex honors its illustrious neighbors through modern design, refined details and materials, high-end residential amenities, and sustainable design practices. Each of the completed and projected 24-story, 311,000-square-foot apartment towers, which are grouped in clusters on the 11.7-acre formally landscaped site, has not only been positioned to command sweeping views for every dwelling unit, but also incorporates a state-of-the-art curtain wall designed to minimize reflectivity and promote energy conservation.
Bund House has also been recognized with the 2009 Inspiration Award by Contract Design Magazine and the 2009 Shanghai Best Residential Development Project Award.
