BROADWAY BLOCK PENDING CITY APPROVAL

Design approval for the Broadway Block is underway. JWDA is leading the design team for the high-rise, mixed-use development in downtown San Diego. Developed by Bosa Development Corporation, the design features two towers, 21 stories and 41 stories, respectively, rising from a residential and retail platform.
The Broadway Block promises to be a major player in the transformation of San Diego’s urban core. At 720,000 square-feet, this towering structure houses 617 residential units with extensive amenities including ground level retail and commercial space, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 25,000-square-foot “sky terrace” designed by Connect Landscape Architecture.
San Diego is evolving, with over 4,400 units currently under construction and several thousand more in the works. The Broadway Block is sure to stand out and positively impact San Diego’s skyline while creating an icon for the downtown community.
The Broadway Block is expected to break ground in spring 2017.
