Broadstone Makers Quarter Wins Orchid Award

The 2020 San Diego Architectural Foundation Orchid Award for Interior Design goes to Broadstone Makers Quarter (BMQ), a mixed-use market-rate apartment in East Village, San Diego. The interior design was led by Paul Basile at Basile Studio with JWDA providing full architectural services on the project.
Since its completion in 2018, BMQ has been well-received by the community. Its vibrant and trendy interior features high-tech units and unique amenities that cater to young professionals and college students in the area. The exterior architecture complements the industrial vibe of the interiors with textured concrete finishes, structured glazing and various metal cladding comprised of iron, steel & aluminum.
Developed by Alliance Realty Partners, BMQ is located on 16th Avenue and Broadway with convenient access to San Diego City College, Makers Quarter District and downtown San Diego.
