Award-Winning Holiday Inn San Diego Bayside Expansion

Holiday Inn Bayside, San Diego, CAThe new Holiday Inn San Diego Bayside Expansion has been honored by the Point Loma Association for Outstanding Architecture, Landscape, and Sculpture. The $13 million, 44,000 square foot, four-story expansion was deemed “most deserving” by Richard Lareau, Point Loma Associate spokesperson. The Point Loma Association is made up of volunteers committed to improving the quality of life in Point Loma, San Diego through beautification, education, charitable activities, and civic collaboration.

JWDA provided the architectural design services for the Holiday Inn San Diego Bayside Expansion, Liz Bartell Design was responsible for the hotel design services, Parterre Landscape Architecture performed the landscape design services, and Matt Devine created Intersect, the grand metal sculpture that welcomes guest to the award-winning building.

The expansion includes a 2,000 square foot lobby with 18-foot high crafted teak ceilings, 57 oversize guest rooms and suites with bay views, a 3,400 square foot ballroom, and a corporate boardroom equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
