525 Olive Tower is Under Construction

Formerly known as 6th & Olive, 525 Olive Tower is a new mixed-use development located in Bankers Hill, a neighborhood just north of downtown San Diego with convenient access to world-renowned Balboa Park. JWDA was retained by Greystar to provide full architectural services on the project.
The nearly 300,000-SF project includes 204 residential units – of which 18 are designated affordable for low-income residents. The unit mix is comprised of studio, one-, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, each with a private balcony. Common amenities include a 10,000-SF ground floor plaza, fitness room, and sky deck equipped with a pool and BBQ area.
The 20-story tower shares a site with St. Paul’s Cathedral and will include approximately 17,000-SF of office and meeting space to support the cathedral’s ministry to the community. 348 automobile parking spaces are provided in a 5-level underground parking structure including 70 spaces dedicated for both cathedral attendees and future residents. Expected Completion: 2022.
