Project Information

The Mission Trails Visitor & Interpretive Center is located at the main entrance to the Mission Trails Park in San Diego County.  JWDA served as the primary architect and provided extensive services that included programming, site design, schematic design, construction drawings, project specifications, construction administration, and inspection.  The programming included interpretive signage and details designed to enhance the enjoyment of the Center for all visitors, especially the elderly and children.  The massing of the Center was carefully calculated to harmonize with surrounding mountain ridges and complement the natural features of the park.
