The proposal envisions a flexible array of individual parcels for future program flexibility and sustainable practices under the concept of “Garden Town”. The commercial district is laid out as a pedestrian loop with four anchor commercial plazas and a cultural center as the heart of the project. A green axis dissects the project to provide for community space, crossed by a vehicular boulevard for emergency access and vehicular amenities. The design is considered a commercial district much like a CBD zone, where vehicles and pedestrians are present in a high density area. The concept “Garden Town” drives the development of the master plan with an emphasis on pedestrian areas, community spaces, green terraces and roofs, and high-performing sustainable practices.
