Bachelor Enlisted Quarters Package 8

Project Information

The work of BEQ Package 8 includes the demolition of existing structures and the design, engineering and construction of four new MCON Bachelor Enlisted Quarters at Camp Pendleton, CA.  Each multi-story structure contains 101,610 SF and utilizes reinforced concrete masonry units with concrete foundations and floors and standing- seam metal roofs per the Base Exterior Appearance Plan (BEAP).  Each has 200 two-person rooms.  The design goal was to create a campus-like facility that achieves the feeling of a community.  An adjacent parking structure accommodates 1,120 vehicles and 80 motorcycles in addition to 415 off-street parking spaces as well as 51 on-street spaces.  The project site plan met all ATFP standoff requirements. The project achieved LEED® Gold Status.
