December 2008 Waterfront Hilton Convention Center Hotel Opens San Diego, California -- JWDA is proud to annouce the recent completion of the Hilton Convention Center Hotel in San Diego, California. The hotel offers a full complement of amenities including a saltwater pool gracing the upper deck, three dining options, over 150,000 square-feet of flexible meeting space and over 1200 rooms and suites with water views. Joseph Wong Design Associates provided architectural service as Associate Architect with Jon Portman and Associates. Sasaki Associates provided Landscape Architecture for the waterfront park and esplanade. The facility offers public art and public and guest parking in a 2000 parking structure that received a National Design-Build Award from the Design-Build Institute of America while its central location offers guests the best that San Diego has to offer.
